Fiscal receipts: what your country asks
For owners of establishments that sell on BlinkFix: what the law of your country asks about fiscal receipts, what you do, and what BlinkFix does for you.
First of all
- You are the seller, so the fiscal receipt is yours to issue. The receipt BlinkFix gives your customer confirms the payment BlinkFix took in your name; it is not a fiscal receipt.
- Only the owner can set up, change or remove the fiscal connection.
- BlinkFix switches fiscal connections on country by country. Until the app shows your connection as Connected, issue every fiscal receipt yourself, on your own till or system.
Choose your country’s group
- Poland: fiscal printer or software cash registerEvery sale to a consumer is recorded on an online cash register: a fiscal printer or a software cash register.
- EU countries and Norway: certified till, signing module or reportingA certified till, a signing module or the tax office’s system records each sale. A cloud fiscal service can do it without a device at your establishment.
- No fiscal device: the UK, Ireland, the Netherlands, Switzerland, the USA and moreNo fiscal device. Your BlinkFix receipt carries what your country asks of a receipt; give a full invoice when one is asked for.
- United Arab EmiratesNo fiscal device for sales to consumers. Sales to businesses and government become e-invoices as the mandate reaches you.
- Saudi ArabiaEvery sale needs a simplified tax invoice with a QR code from a ZATCA-onboarded solution, reported within 24 hours.
- TurkeyEach retail sale goes through a new-generation cash register (YN ÖKC) approved by the Revenue Administration.
- ChinaNo till device. The seller issues a fapiao when it takes payment, unless the province lets small retail sales skip it.
- Brazil, Chile, Mexico, Colombia, Peru, Argentina, Vietnam, Taiwan, Kenya and Malaysia: each sale reported through your providerEach consumer sale becomes an electronic note or invoice that the tax office authorises or receives. BlinkFix sends it through the provider your country uses, with your account there.
- Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Egypt, Tanzania, Rwanda and the Philippines: your country’s cash-register or e-receipt providerEach sale is recorded through a fiscal data operator, a tax authority’s receipt system or a virtual fiscal device. BlinkFix connects to it with your account.
- India and South Korea: a document when the customer asksNothing is sent for every sale. A business in India asks for a GST invoice, a customer in South Korea who paid in cash for a cash receipt, and your provider issues it.
- Countries with a certified till of their ownBulgaria, Denmark, Latvia, Lithuania, Malta, Romania, Slovenia and Quebec: a certified till, fiscal device or software of the country records each sale. Keep issuing fiscal receipts on it.
How to connect
Step-by-step guides for each way of connecting: what you need, what to press in the app, where the maker’s or provider’s own manual is, and what to do when something goes wrong.
- Fiscal printerA fiscal printer or fiscal cash register on your place’s network, driven by a phone or tablet. That device sends it each sale and the daily report.
- Register softwareYour own certified register software or software cash register. BlinkFix sends it each sale where it has a connection for your vendor.
- Cloud providerA cloud fiscal service signs and reports each receipt for you, with no device at your establishment.
- Per-sale reportingEach sale, or its data, is reported to the tax authority within a set time. A connection signs and sends it, or your own system does.
- National providerA fiscal data operator, an e-receipt system or a virtual fiscal device of your country. You give BlinkFix your account and keys; it sends each sale through them.
- ZATCA (Saudi Arabia)BlinkFix is the e-invoicing solution of your place: you onboard it once with a one-time code from the Fatoora portal, and it signs and reports each invoice.
- Invoices on requestNothing is sent for every sale. The customer asks for a document from the order, and your provider or you issue it.
- No device: nothing to connectNothing to connect. Your BlinkFix receipt carries what your country asks of a receipt; you issue a full invoice when one is asked for.
