Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Egypt, Tanzania, Rwanda and the Philippines: your country’s cash-register or e-receipt provider
In these countries each sale is recorded through a system your tax authority runs or approves: a fiscal data operator, an electronic receipt or e-invoice system, or a virtual fiscal device. BlinkFix connects to the system of your country with the account and the keys your authority or provider gave you, checks them first, keeps them encrypted and sends each sale through it. The connection screen names the provider and every field says what it is.
First of all
- You are the seller, so the fiscal receipt is yours to issue. The receipt BlinkFix gives your customer confirms the payment BlinkFix took in your name; it is not a fiscal receipt.
- Only the owner can set up, change or remove the fiscal connection.
- BlinkFix switches fiscal connections on country by country. Until the app shows your connection as Connected, issue every fiscal receipt yourself, on your own till or system.
What you do
- Ask your accountant what your country asks of you, and get the account, the device or application registration and the keys from your provider or your tax authority. BlinkFix cannot do this for you.
- Where the app offers a connection for your country, open Work › More › Place settings › VAT and receipts › Fiscal connection, choose “Cloud provider” and give what the form asks for: a login, a taxpayer number, a device or application id, and in some countries a certificate and a private key pasted as text.
- Press “Connect”. BlinkFix checks the details at the provider first; a refusal names the field and nothing is saved until the provider accepts them.
- While the app shows your country in test mode, press “Test receipt”. The provider’s test environment answers with a number; it is not a real fiscal document.
- When your country moves from test to live, connect again with the details for the new environment: the screen tells you.
- Until the status says Connected, issue every receipt yourself.
BlinkFix’s research of these countries rests on provider and consultancy pages more than on the authorities’ own. Each country’s box shows the mark “Not yet confirmed” while its row is not settled.
Once your connection works
- BlinkFix sends each sale your country’s rule records when you collect the money: when a card payment through BlinkFix succeeds, or when a payment in cash or on your own card terminal is recorded as received (for example when your staff mark the order as paid). A way of paying your country does not record is not sent: your country’s box says which.
- Tips are never on your fiscal receipt. BlinkFix’s service fee is on BlinkFix’s own invoice to the customer, not on your register.
- When an order is cancelled after payment, or you refund it, BlinkFix sends the correction document your country asks for. A refund that BlinkFix pays from its own money does not touch your register.
- Sales from before you connected, or before your country’s rule starts, are not sent: issue those receipts yourself.
- If a receipt fails, BlinkFix tries again and tells you. If it still fails, issue the receipt another way within the time your law allows.
- Each order’s fiscal receipt is in the Fiscal receipts tab of VAT and receipts, with Re-run for one that failed.
- While the app shows your country in test mode, BlinkFix marks every fiscal number as a test and shows none to your customers. Whether your fiscal printer, register software or provider counted a receipt as a real fiscal one depends on its own setup: check with your provider, so that each sale is fiscalised once, neither missed nor twice.
