Register software

Register software is a program that does the work of a fiscal till. In some countries it must be certified, confirmed or declared by the authorities. You keep using it. Where BlinkFix has a connection for your software’s vendor, BlinkFix sends it each sale when you collect the money; where it has none, the app says so and you ring up the orders yourself.

First of all

  • You are the seller, so the fiscal receipt is yours to issue. The receipt BlinkFix gives your customer confirms the payment BlinkFix took in your name; it is not a fiscal receipt.
  • Only the owner can set up, change or remove the fiscal connection.
  • BlinkFix switches fiscal connections on country by country. Until the app shows your connection as Connected, issue every fiscal receipt yourself, on your own till or system.

How it fits together

  1. BlinkFixsends each sale when you collect the money
through the vendor’s interface, where BlinkFix has one
  2. Your register softwarethe vendor and the register number you gave
    reports of the software
  3. Tax office or national systemthe software reports as your country asks
BlinkFix sends the sale to your software through the vendor’s interface. The software does the fiscal work and reports as its certification requires.

What you need

  • Register software that your country accepts. In Poland that is a software cash register confirmed by the Central Office of Measures (GUM), fiscalised before its first sale and connected to the Central Repository of Cash Registers. Elsewhere it is the certification or declaration your country asks for. Ask your vendor for the proof.
  • Your vendor’s name and the number of your register or instance, as the vendor shows them.
  • The vendor’s agreement that sales may reach its software from outside. BlinkFix can connect a vendor’s software only once it has that vendor’s interface; the status tells you when it has not.
  • Your legal name, address, tax number and VAT rates right in BlinkFix: they go on every receipt.

Step by step

  1. Open Work › More › Place settings › VAT and receipts › Fiscal connection.
  2. Under “Connection”, choose “Register software”. If this chip is not there, your country’s row in BlinkFix’s table allows no register software.
  3. In “Vendor”, type your software’s vendor. In “Register number”, type the number of your register or instance.
  4. Press “Connect”. BlinkFix saves the connection and checks it at once.
  5. Read the “Status” card. “Connected”: BlinkFix sends each sale to your software. “Not available yet”: BlinkFix has no connection for that vendor and sends nothing, so keep ringing up your orders on your software.
  6. Whatever the status says, an order that was not sent stays on VAT and receipts › Receipts to issue until you tick it as rung up.
  7. To remove the connection press “Disconnect”. It is there where your country lets a place have none.

How you know it works

  • The “Status” card reads “Connected”, and under it Register software · the vendor.
  • A paid order shows in the “Fiscal receipts” tab of VAT and receipts as “Issued” with the number your software gave, or “Test mode” while your country is in test mode.

The maker’s and the provider’s own manuals

  • Poland: the register of confirmed cash registers (Central Office of Measures, in Polish)
  • Poland: virtual cash registers, questions and answers (Ministry of Finance, in Polish)
  • Quebec: mandatory billing for restaurants (Revenu Québec) Not yet confirmed

The manual for your software is your vendor’s own. BlinkFix links none, because it has confirmed no vendor’s interface.

Only the pages of the maker, the provider or the authority themselves are linked, as they were on 29 October 2026.

If something goes wrong

The status says “Not available yet”

BlinkFix has no connection for that vendor, so it sends nothing. Keep ringing up your orders on your software yourself: VAT and receipts › Receipts to issue lists them, and you tick each one once it is rung up.

I do not know whether my software is accepted in my country

Ask the vendor for its certificate or confirmation number and check it on the authority’s page. In Poland that is the register of decisions of the Central Office of Measures, linked above.

A sale could be rung up twice

Where the status is “Connected”, do not ring that order up again on your software. The “Fiscal receipts” tab shows whether BlinkFix already sent it (“Issued”). If you ring an order up by hand, tick it in Receipts to issue, so that each sale is fiscalised once, neither missed nor twice.

Nothing is sent although the status says “Connected”

Check whether your country is in test mode: the “Fiscal receipts” tab then shows “Test mode”. A sale from before you connected, or before your country’s rule starts, is never sent: ring it up yourself.

The vendor is not in the app’s list

“Vendor” is a free field. Type the name as the vendor writes it. If BlinkFix has no connection for it, the status says “Not available yet”.

Quebec and Slovenia Not yet confirmed

The research could not settle the route for a restaurant in these two places: in Quebec the software must be a sales recording system certified by Revenu Québec, and BlinkFix is not one; in Slovenia the route is unknown. Keep using your certified system and confirm the route with a local adviser.
