United Arab Emirates

In the UAE no fiscal device is needed for sales to consumers. The e-invoicing system that starts in 2026 and 2027 covers sales to businesses and to government: those invoices go through an accredited e-invoicing service provider on the Peppol network.

First of all

  • You are the seller, so the fiscal receipt is yours to issue. The receipt BlinkFix gives your customer confirms the payment BlinkFix took in your name; it is not a fiscal receipt.
  • Only the owner can set up, change or remove the fiscal connection.
  • BlinkFix switches fiscal connections on country by country. Until the app shows your connection as Connected, issue every fiscal receipt yourself, on your own till or system.

What you do

  1. For consumers, give the receipt or tax invoice the VAT rules ask for. BlinkFix’s receipt carries your TRN once it is set in VAT and receipts.
  2. Ask your adviser when the e-invoicing mandate applies to your business; the Ministry of Finance publishes the phases.
  3. Once it applies, an invoice to a business customer is an e-invoice through an accredited service provider. Where the app offers a connection for it, set it up in Work › More › Place settings › VAT and receipts › Fiscal connection; until then, issue those e-invoices through your own provider.

BlinkFix sends no sale to a tax system for your sales to consumers: there is no fiscal receipt to send.
