India and South Korea: a document when the customer asks
In India and South Korea BlinkFix reports no sale on its own. The customer asks for the document from the order: in India a business with its GSTIN asks for a GST invoice, in South Korea a customer who paid in cash asks for a cash receipt, for an income deduction or as a business expense proof. Your provider issues it and the customer finds its number on the order and in an e-mail.
First of all
- You are the seller, so the fiscal receipt is yours to issue. The receipt BlinkFix gives your customer confirms the payment BlinkFix took in your name; it is not a fiscal receipt.
- Only the owner can set up, change or remove the fiscal connection.
- BlinkFix switches fiscal connections on country by country. Until the app shows your connection as Connected, issue every fiscal receipt yourself, on your own till or system.
What you do
- Ask your accountant whether you must issue these documents, and open the account at the provider the connection screen names for your country.
- Where the app offers a connection for your country, open Work › More › Place settings › VAT and receipts › Fiscal connection, choose “Cloud provider” and give the account there. The tax number saved for the place in VAT and receipts must be the same one.
- Customers ask from their order. Their requests appear in the “Fiscal receipts” tab of VAT and receipts, under “GST invoice requests” or “Cash receipt requests”.
- India’s requests go to your provider at once. In South Korea press “Send” on each request you want issued, or enter the approval number of a receipt you issued yourself with “Enter the number”.
- Turn down a request with “Decline” and a reason the customer reads; they can correct it and ask again.
BlinkFix offers the document to customers only when everything it needs is in place; until then your list says so.
Country by country
IndiaNot yet confirmed
No device and no reporting of consumer sales. A business customer can ask for a GST invoice with its GSTIN; BlinkFix registers the e-invoice through a GST provider and the invoice number comes back.
- What the law asks
- An invoice in some cases (for example when the customer asks for one), not a fiscal record of every sale
- Ways BlinkFix’s table allows
- a cloud fiscal service · a connection is not required
- Cloud fiscal service
- None chosen in BlinkFix’s table yet
- Test mode
- BlinkFix runs this country in test mode: it marks every fiscal number as a test and shows none to customers. Whether a receipt counted as a real fiscal one depends on your printer’s, software’s or provider’s own setup.
- Electronic fiscal receipt
- Allowed
- Fiscal reports
- None
South KoreaNot yet confirmed
A cash receipt through the National Tax Service for a customer who paid in cash and asks for one: a mobile number for an income deduction, or a business registration number as an expense proof. Whether an ordinary restaurant must issue one unasked is not confirmed.
