Delivery companies at checkout

Delivery companies appear at checkout only when the establishment switches on Use our drivers and Customers can choose a driver.

What you switch on

  1. Delivery has to be on for the establishment: switch it on in Work › More › Place settings › Delivery type. With delivery off, no order uses a delivery company.
  2. Open Work › More › Delivery companies and switch on Use our drivers.
  3. Open Work › More › Place settings › Delivery, switch on Customers can choose a driver and press Save.
  4. Look at the list Delivery companies in your area on the Delivery companies screen: at least one company has to reach your establishment.

The app and the website have the same screens. Only the owner, or a manager in charge of orders, can change delivery.

What the customer sees

  • At checkout, under Who delivers?, the customer sees the delivery companies that reach your establishment and their delivery address, each with its rating and its price for the distance.
  • Automatic is the default: BlinkFix asks the best-rated company near the customer first, then the next one.
  • If only one company reaches the address, it is shown as information and Automatic stays the choice.
  • If no company can take the order, your establishment arranges the driver and BlinkFix tells the customer.

When a switch is off

  • Use our drivers off: only your own drivers deliver, and the customer sees no delivery company, whatever the other switch says.
  • Customers can choose a driver off, Use our drivers on: the customer is not shown the companies, but BlinkFix still hands the order to the best-rated company by itself.
  • Customers can choose a driver also lets a customer pick a friend who has a driver job at your establishment.
